Pics: Limpopo Police rescue newborn baby girl from pit toilet
On Sunday morning, January 17, the paramedics and the police dive unit
were called in after a baby girl was discovered in a pit toilet at
Nthabiseng village in Morebeng, South Africa.
A resident called the police when she heard the baby crying in the toilet.
“On their arrival the police called the paramedics and the SAPS dive unit,” said provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto.
The mother/suspect is unknown and the baby was taken to the Botlokwa hospital. The baby is doing well,” said Otto, adding that investigation inongoing.
